Being of Norwegian descent, it was natural for me to include a theme for Norwegian gifts and collectibles.

My Grandfather (Perelious B. Pedersen) immigrated from Norway in 1892.  My great Grandfather (Hans Svare) immigrated from Norway to the United States (Minnesota) in 1885.

Over the years, I have been in Norway three times, twice visiting the Svare farm that has been in the family for over 300 years.

Additionally, my son was stationed at a NATO base near Oslo, Norway for over 5 years while he was in the US Air Force.  Upon completion of his military career, he married a Norwegian, had two boys, and lived in Norway for another 9 years.
